CinEd’in Açılış Toplantısı: Sinema Pedagojisinde Yeni Bir Dönem Başlıyor
CinEd projesi, Avrupa’da sinema eğitimini geliştirmeyi amaçlayan yenilikçi bir girişim olarak, 17-21 Ekim 2022 tarihleri arasında Lizbon’da düzenlenen açılış toplantısıyla resmen başladı. Etkinlik, ünlü Cinemateca Portuguesa tarafından ev sahipliği yapıldı ve sinema eğitimi alanındaki önemli isimleri bir araya getirerek, genç izleyicilerle etkileşim kurmayı ve kültürel anlayışı güçlendirmeyi hedefleyen yeni pedagojik araçlar ve kaynakların entegrasyonu üzerine yoğunlaştı.
Sinema eğitimi topluluğunun değerli bir üyesi olan Serhat Yetimova, etkinliğe katılarak, sinemanın modern eğitimdeki rolü üzerine değerli görüşler sundu. Açılış oturumları, katılımcılara bir karşılama kokteyli ile başladı ve ardından Pedagojik Komite’nin toplantısı gerçekleştirildi. Bu toplantı, projenin hedefleri ve geleceği hakkında önemli tartışmaların yapıldığı bir platform oldu.
CinEd’in resmi açılışı, Cinemateca Portuguesa Direktörü José Manuel Costa ve film yönetmeni ve eğitimcisi Vítor Gonçalves’in katılımıyla düzenlenen bir yuvarlak masa toplantısı ile yapıldı. Toplantıda, pedagojik kaynakların paylaşılması için bir platform oluşturmanın önemi vurgulandı ve yeni bir web sitesi ile genç izleyici alanının tanıtımı yapıldı.
Toplantının ikinci günü, katılımcılara, sinema koleksiyonlarının eğitim sistemine nasıl entegre edilebileceği üzerine kapsamlı tartışmalar sunuldu. Etkinliğin önemli bir parçası da, O Sangue adlı filmin İngilizce altyazılı olarak gösterimi oldu. Bu etkinlik, katılımcılara çağdaş Portekiz sinemasını deneyimleme fırsatı sundu.
CinEd projesi, katılımcıların Bucelas’taki ANIM (Ulusal Hareketli Görüntü Arşivi) ziyaretinde, film koruma ve pedagojik araçlar üzerine yapılan tartışmalarla son buldu. Bu tur, sinema arşivlerinin korunması ve bu değerli sinematografik hazinelerin eğitimde nasıl kullanılacağı konusundaki görüş alışverişine olanak sağladı.
CinEd’in açılış toplantısı, sadece projenin resmi olarak başlamasını sağlamakla kalmadı, aynı zamanda Avrupa’da sinema okuryazarlığının geliştirilmesi için gelecekteki işbirlikleri ve ilerlemeler için de sağlam bir temel oluşturdu. Yapılan tartışmalar, atölye çalışmaları ve film gösterimleriyle proje, eğitmenlere genç izleyicilere sinema dünyasını etkili bir şekilde tanıtma araçları sunmayı hedefliyor.
CinEd’s Inaugural Meeting Marks the Beginning of a New Era in Film Pedagogy
The CinEd project, a groundbreaking initiative aimed at enhancing film education across Europe, held its inaugural meeting from October 17-21, 2022, in Lisbon. Hosted by the prestigious Cinemateca Portuguesa, the event brought together key figures in the world of cinema education, with a focus on integrating new pedagogical tools and resources to engage young audiences and foster greater cultural understanding.
Serhat Yetimova, an esteemed member of the film education community, participated in the event, contributing valuable insights on the role of cinema in modern education. The opening sessions included a welcome cocktail, followed by a meeting of the Pedagogical Committee, which set the stage for discussions on the project’s objectives and direction.
The official launch of CinEd featured a roundtable with prominent figures, including José Manuel Costa, Director of Cinemateca Portuguesa, and film director and educator Vítor Gonçalves. The gathering emphasized the importance of creating a platform for sharing pedagogical resources, focusing on a new website and the introduction of a young spectator space.
Public engagement was also a key component of the event, with a screening of the film O Sangue, subtitled in English, offering attendees an opportunity to experience contemporary Portuguese cinema. The CinEd project’s second day included in-depth discussions on film collections and the integration of these resources into formal education settings.
The event concluded with a tour of the ANIM (National Archive of Moving Images) in Bucelas, where participants explored the vast archive and discussed the future of film conservation and the pedagogical tools necessary to preserve these valuable cinematic treasures.
CinEd’s inaugural meeting not only marked the official launch of the project but also set the foundation for future collaborations and advancements in film literacy across Europe. With ongoing discussions, workshops, and screenings, the project aims to provide educators with the tools they need to introduce young audiences to the world of cinema in an engaging and educational manner.
